Passionate about what we do since 1992!
The Oswald Matt Group has deep roots in the Black Forest—a region synonymous with consistency, precision, and reliability. What grows here has substance. Guided by this philosophy, we have been operating for over 35 years: with responsibility, integrity, sustainability, and a commitment to quality.
From our beginnings in the container trade and conversion, a company has emerged that has also been dedicated to safety and the protection of human life for years. Our first product, the modular rescue station, marked the beginning of a development that continues to shape us to this day.
With our high-security bollards, we protect people and public spaces, thereby contributing to a safe and carefree future.
With Protect Life Black Forest, we’re bringing the protective power of the Black Forest to our cities. We’re creating safe places where people can live, celebrate, and come together without worry—openly, freely, and with a sense of belonging.
Our roots in the Black Forest give us stability, direction, and the strength to create something new—always with a clear goal in mind: to put people at the center of everything we do.
The Tiefenhausen family in Höchenschwand is the foundation of our vision. It all began here, in the heart of the Black Forest. Drawing on the power of nature and the values of his homeland, Oswald Matt created Protect Life Black Forest—a safety initiative with deep roots.
